Digital Tech Career Awareness Programme targeted 200
secondary school counsellors nationwide through collaboration with
Ministry of Education (MoE). The programme aims at creating
awareness on the trends and developments in the digital
technology and its career prospects. The session will also equip the
counsellors with information on education and career pathway
related to digital technology.
The programme is one of the key initiatives under the
#mydigitalmaker movement launched in 2016 to transform
our Malaysian youth from digital users to producers. This includes
nurturing skills such as coding, app development, robotics,
embedded programming, data analytics and creative. FCSIT UM
is represented by Dr Nazean Jomhari and SLAB Fellow Muhammad
Faiz Zaki, Muhammad Firdaus Sahran and Nur Nasuha
Muhammad Daud.
