Other Important decisions and activities:
During the month of February 2018, department was busy with the preparation of
documentations for new program BCS (Data Science). Documents were successfully submitted
to QMEC for external panel assessment.
Department is currently working on MOU between FSKTM - TheCADS. Dr. Vimala has been
appointed to lead this task.
We were also actively working on the preparation for SAP Analytics Cloud Workshop which we
were targeting for International Level workshop/seminar. Was held on 9
th
April successfully.
We are also working on the Research Symposium scheduled on 12 July 2018. We are also
targeting International Level.
Besides that, we have set dates for the upcoming International Workshop on Data Analytics to
28 & 29 August 2018.
Looking into preparing students for National/International level competitions such as Datathon
and SAP Data Science Explorers.
