We received a visit by Diploma Students in Computer Science,
UITM (Sarawak). There are 10 students and one lecturer came
to FCSIT on 23 February 2016, 2.30 – 3.30pm. Dr. Norisma
Idris, HoD (AI) presented our UG Programmes and how to
apply to UM directly via our portal to the students. We also
promoting a PhD Programme to the lecturer. The students
went to visit our teaching labs and walking tours about our
facilities.

We had a visit by Malaysia Airlines Berhad
(Engineering Division) on Internship programme. The
meeting was held at BMD and attended by Dean,
Deputy Dean (UG), LI Coordinator (Dr Su Moon Ting),
IPPI Coordinator (Dr Azah Norman). We are
discussion about establishing the relation between
faculty and industry (MAS). Both parties are
interested on the idea (IPPI initiative for long term
and bigger scale and internship for short term and
small scale).
